.ON JULY 31ST photos of a Russian Mi-8 transport helicopter, crashed as well as burning, started flowing on social media sites. That in itself was not unusual: Ukrainian powers have rejected ratings of choppers because the Russian invasion started. So much more unexpected was actually the case in the Ukrainian press that this helicopter had been downed by a tiny drone. A video clip launched due to the country's armies a couple of times later on seemed to be to give support to that insurance claim: the footage (view below) presents a drone reaching yet another Russian plane, this time an Mi-28 attack helicopter, apparently obliging it to create an urgent landing. Were these privileged hits-- or indications of a breakthrough in aerial war?
